Unit owners in a condominium do have the right to access official records of the Association, but there are several categories of exceptions. You’re not entitled to see social security numbers. You’re not entitled to see the medical records of a unit owner. You’re not entitled to see personnel records of the Association employees. You’re not entitled to see documents or records provided by unit owners in connection with the sale or lease of the property. And, you’re only entitled to see the email address of the unit owner if that owner allows the Association to use it for the purpose of sending notices to the owner.
